TOPANGA
CANYON—On Tuesday, March 5 three men were arrested after leading police on a wild pursuit. The suspects apprehended were connected to a burglary, which occurred in the
San Fernando Valley. The chase began before 2:00 p.m., which started as a car chase and later turned into a foot chase.
The off-ramps of the 405 were closed between
Mulholland Drive and The Skirball Cultural Center. The Skirball Jewish Center did not allow anyone inside the building, as building security assisted with escorting people out. Three neighboring schools Berkley Hall, Curtis and Milken were all placed on lockdown. The driver was traveling southbound when he crashed the car and the suspects ran on foot.
The suspects ran from the car near
Mulholland Drive making their way through cars and jumped over a ledge onto a hillside. One suspect tried to climb steep terrain along a hill, but was apprehended by police on a baseball field near
Berkley
Hall
School. K-9 officers took down a second suspect. The final suspect eventually made his way down the hillside and was taken into custody by law enforcement. Authorities have not yet disclosed the names of the suspects.
