Topanga Canyon Gallery Reception

TOPANGA CANYON—The Topanga Canyon Gallery will host the artist reception of oil painting artists for John Brunnick and Lisa Goldfarb. The painting selection titled “The Color of California” will debut on Saturday, June 29, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. 

 

The Topanga Canyon Gallery is a fine arts gallery consisting of mediums: painting (oil, watercolor, acrylic), drawings, mixed media, sculpture, jewelry, glass, ceramics, and photography.

John Brunnick is a local Southern California artist who has a flare for abstract patterns that show the beauty of the So Cal oceans and various sceneries. Brunnick has stated under the biographical statement of his website that his inspiration is drawn from “the area where water and land meet.”  As a current contributor to the Topanga Canyon Gallery, who has displayed his work on numerous occasions, Brunnick declares his art as “an effort on my part to evoke emotions and moments easily recognized by anyone with a fondness for the shoreline.”

 

Lisa Goldfarb is known for her picturesque views of Los Angeles’ day and night life and her colorful portraits of animals.  She focuses on landscapes, cityscapes, portraits, custom pet portraits and custom paintings.  She depicts the city as through her colorful eyes and portrays the waterways, shopping scenes and animals that Los Angeles has to offer.

 

The Topanga Canyon Gallery will commemorate their reception to local Los Angeles artists that focus on the life of color that LA has to offer.
