New Candidate For West Hollywood City Council
Posted by Jennifer Alcaraz on Dec 27, 2012 - 6:09:06 PM

WEST HOLLYWOOD—Last week, former international model and Dotcom entrepreneur Tristan Schukraft announced that he is running for West Hollywood City Council for the upcoming elections on March 5, 2013. He indicated in a council meeting on December 17, that he will implement his business skills to the city council in order to make the city a better place.

He aims at increasing the involvement of the community in city politics as well as using technology to reach people, which he considers key. There are two in office candidates Mayor Jeffrey Prang and Councilman John Duran, in addition to six other candidates whom Schukraft will compete against.

Schukraft founded ID90.com when he was 21 years-old. He took a $10,000 loan from his parents and $16,000 he made himself from selling scooters at Southern California flea markets. That income served as the website’s capital, later the business grew on its own and now employs more than 100 people in four continents. ID90.com is a website that offers airline employees travel bargains and discounts.
