WEST HOLLYWOOD—New activities have been added to the programming at the Sunset Strip Market in West Hollywood.

The weekly farmers market, that takes place on Thursday nights, has added to its programming, an outdoor movie series and free kids activities. The market will show a different free film every week beginning at 8:15 p.m.

While seating is provided, guests of the outdoor movie series are encouraged to bring blankets and have a picnic while enjoying the featured films.

A kid cooking class is one of the new activities offered by the Market.

Guests can bring their own food or they can pick their dinner from the market’s artisans.

The market has added weekly activities for kids on a rotating schedule that can be found on the market’s website.

On Thursday, June 27, the Market will be offering face painting and showing the movie “Stand By Me." The Sunset Strip Market takes place every Thursday night beginning in May through October from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.
