Three Suspects in Medical Marijuana Heist Arrested

WEST HOLLYWOOD—On November 26, three men allegedly broke into a marijuana dispensary in West Hollywood, according to police.
The alleged incident occurred at 8:03 p.m. at the Farmacy-Medical Marijuana Dispensary on the 7000 block of Santa Monica Blvd. It is believed that one of the suspects held six employees at gunpoint while the two other suspects restrained the victims and took them to the rear of the dispensary
, where they ordered the victims to lie down.
The suspects then allegedly ordered the manager to open the store safe, and the accused men reportedly took money, glass containers of marijuana and cell phones belonging to the employees.
The accused individuals, described as black adult males, left the scene with the stolen property, leaving the victims unhurt.
Investigators with the West Hollywood Sheriff’s Station later uncovered that the three men had fled to Lancaster, where Lancaster Sheriff’s Station deputies found and apprehended t

m at a residence in the area.
The alleged victims of the crime were transported to Lancaster, where they reportedly identified the suspects. West Hollywood Sheriff’s deputies later execute
d a search warrant and recovered the weapon as well as the items stolen in the incident.
The accused men have been identified as Derrick Devon Jones, 30, of Los Angeles; Willie David Johnson, 35, of Lancaster and Terrence Terrill Brown, 29, of Compton. All were booked at the West Hollywood Sheriff’s Station on charges of robbery and kidnapping; Jones is being held without bail for a parole violation and Johnson and Brown are being held in lieu of $100,000 bail. The investigation is ongoing.
