![]() Westwood News WESTWOOD—UCLA police released a composite sketch of a man who is wanted for attempting to sexually assault a female student on Monday, January 7.
The incident took place at approximately 1:15 a.m. when a woman was attacked on campus as she was walking east between parking structure number nine and the the engineer number four building. The suspect attacked her from behind and “placed her in a bear hug and told her he intended to sexually assault her,” according to a statement by UCLA police. The suspect tried to knock the woman to the ground, however, she was able to break free uninjured. The suspect fled in an unknown direction. He is described as white or of light-skinned Asian, approximately 30 years old, 5 feet 11 inches tall and 160 pounds.
