WESTWOOD—The 405 will see nightly closures to complete plans on the Sepulveda Pass Project from April 14 to April 19.
Ramps close at 7 p.m. Lanes close at 10 p.m.
According to a news release from Metro, the northbound 405 will be closed from National Boulevard to Wilshire Boulevard every night during the week from midnight to 5:00 a.m., and then once more from 1:00 a.m. to 6:00 a.m. on April 19. Ramps leading onto the freeway will start closing down around 7:00 p.m., and then lanes will begin closing at 10:00 p.m. to allow workers to re-stripe the lanes.
The ramps that will be closed for the duration of this portion of the project include the east and westbound I-10 connectors to the northbound 405 and the northbound on-ramp from Olympic Boulevard/Pico Boulevard. In addition, residents should expect the northbound on and off-ramps at
Santa Monica Boulevard and the off-ramps to east and westbound
Wilshire Boulevard to be shut down.
For people looking to use the 405 during the closure, Metro stated that the freeway will still be accessible from the northbound on-ramp from eastbound
