Fire Engulfs San Fernando Aquatic Center

WOODLAND HILLS—On August 31, a late evening fire erupted at the San Fernando Aquatic Center in Woodland Hills, causing considerable damage to the facility.

The fire was reported at around 11 p.m.; firefighters were able to extinguish the blaze in approximately a half hour, and no injuries were reported.

The cause of the fire and the extent of the damage incurred to the building are unknown as of press time.
