Summers is the second of two suspects who are connected with this crime. Daniel Martinez, 29, of West Hills is currently in police custody. Video surveillance captured Summers near Tecate, Mexico and the LAPD is now working with the Mexican police and FBI to capture Summers.

Both Summers and Martinez were charged on Wednesday, April 3 with kidnapping a minor under 14 and first-degree burglary. Summers will also be charged with nearly three dozen counts of sexual assault as police officials say that Summers reportedly assaulted the young girl numerous times over the 12-hour period she was missing. If convicted, Summers will be facing multiple life terms in prison.

Summers is considered dangerous and officials urge anyone who sees him to contact law enforcement immediately.
