The victim, described as a man in his mid-20’s, was transported to Northridge Hospital Medical Center by paramedics where he was being treated in the emergency room.

The suspects were reportedly seen fleeing the scene southbound on Quakertown Street in a silver or dark green Infinity G35 sedan.  One is described as an African-American male about 23 years-old and 5’ 5’’ tall.  The other suspect is described as an African-American male about 20 years-old and 5’ 8’’ tall.

A semi-automatic handgun was recovered at the scene.  In addition, police discovered a silver sedan parked in the lot with its door open which they believe belongs to the victim.

It wasn’t known yet what the motive for the shooting was although police believe it was narcotics related.  In addition, the suspect and victim had parked their vehicles far from the store which indicate they may have not been shoppers.

Police are said to be reviewing surveillance video of the shooting in addition to speaking with several witnesses to the crime.
