WOODLAND HILLS—The Friends of the Woodland Hills Library will be hosting a three-day book sale beginning Thursday, May 30 through Saturday, June 1. Books being sold at this event are all previously owned, gently used, and new books ranging from 50 cents to $2. In addition, every child in attendance receives one free book.
Also at the sale will be CD’s, DVD’s, and videos. All of the earnings from this sale will go towards bringing in new and better books for the library. Those who are hosting the event are encouraging everyone in the area to attend as they are indicating this as an excellent opportunity to stock up on some summer reading while at the same time supporting the local library.
