WOODLAND HILLS — The body of a 31-year-old man from Woodland Hills was found in the driver’s seat of a 2008 Cadillac STS that had crashed into the Tujunga Wash. At 7:15 a.m. on Thursday, January 2, firefighters saw the car from a parking lot behind Station 86, which overlooks a stretch of the Tujunga Wash.
Firefighters ran to the car and discovered the body. Fallen trees and broken fences off the Hollywood (101) Freeway provided evidence of the car’s descent; after veering off the road, the car had careened over 100 feet into the Tujunga Wash near
Officials are currently investigating the case and a toxicology report is in process. The man’s identity will be withheld until relatives are notified of the death.
