searching for the suspects responsible for robbing medical marijuana
dispensaries over the last months. The robbers walk in and demand cash and
marijuana.
WOODLAND HILLS—A bomb threat forced employees to evacuate from businesses in an office building, including the Daily News. The scare caused an obstruction of streets in the Warner Center area.
WOODLAND HILLS—The Farmer's
Insurance Company announced Thursday that it will make substantial layoffs
within the next 16 months, stated Senior Vice President Mark Toohey of Farmer's
Insurance.
WOODLAND HILLS—A blaze consumed several acres in the Woodland Hills area on Sunday, August 23. Due to the rough terrain, water-dropping helicopters were called in to extinguish the flames.
WOODLAND HILLS—A vehicle collision on the Ventura freeway left the Woodland exit 101 closed. A truck, which was travelling westbound, collided with a Porsche, which overturned the truck.
WOODLAND HILLS—A male suspect known as the "Summer School Backpack Bandit" robbed a Telesis Community Credit Union in Woodland Hills. The individual is also believed to have robbed a Bank of America.
WOODLAND HILLS—On July 25, the case involving rapper and comedian Katt Williams, who was accused owning two guns, was dropped. It was later discovered the guns did not belong to Williams.
