GRIFFTH PARK – Authorities from the Los Angeles Police Department are seeking the public’s help to locate a suspect responsible for an attempted sexual assault in the Griffith Park area. The incident in question occurred on May 14, sometime around 10 a.m., when a lone female was hiking in the area and a suspect approached her and tried to grab her.

 

According to the LAPD, the victim pushed the suspect away, which is when the suspect began to punch the victim. He attempted to sexually assault the victim, but she continued to fight off the suspect. The suspect is described as a male, Hispanic, between the ages of 30-35, with a height of 5 feet and 7 inches and weighing about 150 pounds.   

 

He has short brown hair, light complexion and has a mustache. The suspect was wearing a grey polo shirt, blue jeans, brown hiking shoes and was carrying a black backpack.
