BEVERLY HILLS—On April 19, a 50 year-old man identified as Andy Lee Horn was sentenced to eight years in jail for a crime he committed in Beverly Hills back in 2013.

Lieutenant Lincoln Hoshino, Executive Officer for the Beverly Hills Police Department, informed Canyon News that Andy “Audy” Lee Horn was originally arrested on March 6, 2013, at “approximately 16:50 hours after the commission of [his attempted] armed bank robbery at [Bank of America] on 460 N. Beverly Drive.”

According to Lieutenant Hoshino, Horn successfully robbed the bank of $500 inU.S. currency and fled on the corner of Crescent Drive and Wilshire Blvd before he was arrested by BHPD officers. As stated by Officer Hoshino, the FBI identified Horn as a serial bank robber and took over the investigation for federal prosecution.
