BEVERLY HILLS—On Tuesday, November 10, the Beverly Hills non-profit organization Face Forward will host a Comics Without Borders fundraiser at Hollywood’s Laugh Factory to support survivors of domestic violence and human trafficking.

All of the event’s proceeds will be donated to Face Forward, whose mission “is to provide emotional support and reconstructive surgery for women, children, and men who have been victims of domestic violence, human trafficking or any cruel acts of crime.”

The fundraiser, which will have a red carpet ceremony and VIP reception at 7 p.m., will officially start with a comedy show at 8 p.m. and will feature comedians Angelo Tsarouchas, Mark Ellis, Tom Arnold, Elon Gold, and Kira Soltanovich. Keynote speakers will include Face Forward CEO/Founder Deborah Alessi and Face Forward ambassador and actress of the new CBS show “Code Black,” Bonnie Somerville.

Face Forward recently announced on their Facebook page that “True Blood” and “Once Upon a Time” star Kristin Bauer van Straten will attend the upcoming fundraiser.

With a slogan of “Building Confidence Toward A New Beginning,” Face Forward was founded in 2007 and has partnered with communities here and abroad to not only offer pro bono reconstructive relief to victims affected by violence, but also to provide a welcoming and safe environment that will help victims regain confidence and ultimately start a new life. Face Forward has been able to help treat patients even as far as Peru.

The support of local businesses has enabled Face Forward to offer high quality medical relief and perform an average of two treatments a month for victimized women and children.
