SANTA MONICA—Route 45, is a new summer travel experience provided by Big Blue Bus in downtown Santa Monica.
The route will travel through major destinations in Santa Monica such as the pier, beach, Ocean Avenue, Third Street Promenade, Santa Monica Place and the downtown Santa Monica Expo Line Station.
The transportation experience will begin Monday, July 1 and run until Monday, September 2 from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. and it will be running every 12 to 15 minutes.
People can purchase a TAP card and pay $1.10 for a single ride or $1.25 with cash.
Customers can also receive one free bus ride this summer on Route 45.
