ATHERTON, CA—On Saturday, February 6 celebrities, athletes and other VIPs attended the “Big Game Big Give 2016,” charity fundraiser including Joe Montana and Jay Leno. The annual event has become the premiere party over Super Bowl weekend. The real winners werent showered with confetti, or received the glistening Vince Lombardi trophy like the Denver Broncos did.

But they will see their lives greatly enriched by the outpouring of generousity shown by the patrons in attendance. The event was a huge success, raising more than $1 million to be distributed to the Stanford Cancer Institute, the Four Rings Montana Family Foundation, the Giving Back Fund as well as Do It For The Love Foundation.

There was a plethora of parties, concerts and black tie galas stretching across the Golden Gate Bridge the night before Super Bowl 50. ESPN Magazine and San Francisco Magazine declared it the #1 party over Super Bowl weekend. The Giving Back Fund’s, “Big Game Big Give,” a star studded red carpet event and fundraiser held at the palatial private estate of Jillian Manus.

“We were shooting for the stars this weekend being so close to Silicon Valley,” said Benjamin Brand, Director of Sponsorships for the Giving Back Fund. Manus, the host of the event emptied out her Atherton estate and let Robert Fountain turn her house into nine different parties, where each room fit the “California” theme of the night.

These included a Napa wine room, Rodeo Drive and Palm Springs where a Frank Sinatra impersonator crooned the guests. Each guest was greeted with kisses from California rescued Sea Lions.

San Francisco 49ers icon Joe Montana and baseball great Matt Williams hosted the exclusive fundraiser, along with Lt. Gov. Gavin Newsom, the honorary co-chair. Late night comedy legend Jay Leno served as the nights emcee.

Big Game Big Give drew over 500 distinguished guests.
