HOLLYWOOD—Get ready for more sequels to invade the box-office in the coming years. Last week news was released that the fifth installment in the “Terminator” franchise, “Terminator: Geniysis” won’t be the last. “Geniysis” is slated to arrive in theaters on July 1, 2015.
A second installment in the new trilogy will arrive in theaters on May 19, 2017 and the final film will hit theaters on June 29, 2018.
Deadline has reported that a third installment in the ” Jump Street” franchise starring Channing Tatum and Jonah Hill could be in the works. An exact release date for the sequel has not yet been announced, but its 2014 sequel ” 22 Jump Street” hinted that another installment.
For fans who missed seeing Orlando Bloom in the fourth installment of the “Pirates of the Caribbean” flick, those prayers may have been answered as Bloom is reportedly in talks to appear in the fifth installment “Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales” alongside Johnny Depp. The sequel is slated to arrive in theaters in July 2017.
