HOLLYWOOD—The Los Angeles Police Department found a body inside a truck next to the Hollywood Boulevard studios of “Jimmy Kimmel Live.”

According to the LAPD, the police was called back to the studio around 1:40 p.m. when a person noticed the body slumped in the truck.

On Wednesday, October 20, the body was identified as 40-year-old special effects movie studio technician, Larry Addison Bortolott. He has worked in movies such as “The Country Bears,” “Jack Forest,” “Doctor Dolittle” and “George of the Jungle.”

LAPD investigators said Bortolott may have died because of a medicalcondition.

John Bessolo, brother of Larry Bortolott and author of a blog called “La Mesa Grande,” speculates that the death of his brother is tied with his history of food allergies. John Bortolott wrote, “If you know Larry, you know he had a history of food allergies, and so at this point, we are speculating that he had a reaction and couldn’t get an epi-pen to work but we won’t know the coroner’s report for a month.”

But the official cause of death is unknown until the coroner’s report comes back with the results. The case has been reported as a possible natural death.
