BEVERLY HILLS—The City of Beverly Hills along with the Beverly Hills Centennial Tree & Roses committee hosted the Centennial Rose Bush Dedication on October 5. The event took place at Will Rogers Memorial Park.

According to a press release from the City of BH, more than 100 rose enthusiasts and community members attended the ceremony to celebrate the new garden with guests: Jolene Adams, President of the American Rose Society; Marita Lindner, President of the Uruguayan Rose Society; and Dr. Tommy Cairns, International Rose Expert and Tournament of Roses Parade Judge.

The new “Beverly Hills Centennial” rose garden has more than 160 floribunda rose bush varieties that were hybridized and donated by Dr. Keith Zary to honor the 100th anniversary of Beverly Hills.
