BEVERLY HILLS—Cheryl Shuman is a blonde-haired Beverly Hills mother, who in 2007 was diagnosed with ovarian cancer. Under the belief that she only had mere months to live, Shuman denied hospice care and began regularly smoking medical marijuana.

Shuman is alive and well and garnering national attention as the “Martha Stewart of Marijuana.” Shuman credits her remarkable recovery to the medicinal powers of cannabis, championing the plant as a “miracle drug.”

She is the founder of the Beverly Hills Cannabis Club, and the owner of a 69-acre cannabis farm, and recently launched a crowd funding website to promote the availability of medical marijuana.

As an advocate of the drug, Shuman has developed a significant social media following. Her Facebook page has over 13,000 people where she regularly shares articles concerning the marijuana industry and the war on drugs.

To date, the website, cannadabbadoo.com which permits users to share their cannabis-related business ideas, has three posted ideas and zero donations.
