BEVERLY HILLS—The Beverly Hills City Council will consider memoranda of understanding (MOU) with six employee groups at the City Council formal meeting on February 2.

According to a press release from the City of Beverly Hills, the MOU’s are a result of labor negotiations between the City and representatives of the employee groups, which were completed at the end of 2015.

Proposed MOU’s will cover salaries and benefits for four years through September 30, 2019 for Management and Professional, Safety Support, Supervisors, Confidential, and Municipal Employees (full-time and part-time employee groups) associations.

The Firefighters’ Association MOU was approved on December 15, 2015. Agreements for the Police Officers Association and Police Management Association will expire on September 30, 2016 and the City and associations will start negotiations for successor agreements in the upcoming months.

The six proposed MOUs and the approved firefighters MOU are posted on the City’s website at www.beverlyhills.org/mou.
