BEVERLY HILLS—The City of Beverly Hills is offering options for community members and local businesses to partake in donations this holiday season through its Community Charitable Foundation (CBHCCF). According to a press release from the City of Beverly Hills, a taxable-deductible donation that will go to park beautification projects, historical preservation and restoration efforts or cultural and community programs are options available to impact the Beverly Hills region.

“Beverly Hills is fortunate to have so many generous people who want to support our community,” said Eliot Finkel, Chairperson of the Foundation’s Board of Directors. “The Foundation has made it easy for interested residents, businesses and others to make charitable contributions to areas of the City where they feel it will have the greatest impact for future generations.”

The CBHCCF was started to give residents and local businesses to deliver a tax-deductible donation to Beverly Hills. A few programs to consider making a donation to include:

  • The Beverly Gardens Park Historical Renovation Project
  • Greystone Mansion and Park Restoration Efforts
  • Dog Park Project

Donations can be made in any amount and to more than one City department or area including the Friends of Greystone, the Friends of the Beverly Hills Public Library, and the Friends of Beverly Gardens Park. While all donations are tax-deductible, some patrons and companies require donations to be given to a 501 (c)3; the CBHCCF is happy to offer that opportunity.

Current CBHCCF Board of Directors includes Eliot Finkel, City Treasurer and CBHCCF Chair, Vice-Mayor John Mirisch, Council member Nancy Krasne, and Resident Board Members Kathi Rothner and Ronit Stone. CBHCCF Officers include Chief Financial Officer Don Rhoads, and Chief Executive Officer/City Manager Mahdi Aluzri.
