SANTA MONICA—The annual tree lighting ceremony is set to take place in Santa Monica this week.

Santa Monica Place and Downtown Santa Monica are uniting to celebrate the tree lighting ceremony at the Santa Monica Plaza on Thursday, November 20.

The live entertainment will include performances by the Magnolia Memoirs band, emcee Leo Quinones, and hip-hop violinist Josh Vietti.

The schedule of the event is as follows:

6:00 p.m. Parade begins with Santa on Third Street Promenade at Wilshire Blvd.

6:30 p.m. Santa arrives at Santa Monica Plaza and live entertainment starts.

7:00 p.m. Santa lights the tree and the live entertainment begins.

8:00 p.m. Santa prepares to take photos with guests in attendance.

The lighting will occur at the 12000 block Third Street Promenade (at Wilshire Blvd). The event is free for all to attend. For more information about the event, visit www.SantaMonicaPlace.com.
