WESTWOOD – A Los Angeles city vehicle was involved in a traffic collision with an SUV near Olympic Boulevard on March 9.

Detective Gary MacQueen of the LAPD West Traffic Division told Canyon News that around 1:57 p.m., a Ford Econoline from the city’s Department of Aging crashed into another vehicle on 10400 W. Olympic Boulevard.  The city vehicle was originally identified as an LAPD squad car, but Detective MacQueen noted that it was, in fact, the passenger van.

The driver from the van and the SUV were not seriously injured. Both were released after an on-scene check-up.  The West Traffic Division will continue to investigate the incident.
