LOS ANGELES—The Los Angeles Clippers lost to the Memphis Grizzlies 111-107, snapping their seven game win streak on Wednesday, November 16.

Mike Conley led the way for Memphis, scoring a season high 30 points while grabbing five rebounds and eight assists. Former Defensive Player of the Year Mark Gasol added 26 points, six assists and six rebounds while hitting a game clinching 3-pointer with 14 seconds left in the game. Together Conley and Gasol combined for 12 of the Grizzlies’ 15 made 3-pointers.

“They are the best team right now, so for us to get a signature win like this is huge,” Conley said after the game.

J.J. Redick scored 29 points for Los Angeles, including seven 3-pointers. Deandre Jordan led all players with 14 rebounds, while Blake Griffin had 25 points, eight rebounds and three assists in the Clippers’ second loss of the season.

Both of the Clippers’ losses this year have come at home, something head coach Doc Rivers hopes to change moving forward.

“I don’t like that,” Rivers said of the home defeats. “We had enough points, we didn’t have enough defense.”

Zach Randolph added 18 points for the Grizzlies, who are now 6-5 overall and seventh in the Western Conference.

The Clippers still lead the league with a record of 10-2, and will prepare for a one-game road trip to face All-Star center DeMarcus Cousins and the Sacramento Kings on Friday, November 18.
