HOLLYWOOD HILLS—Conrad Hilton III, heir to the Hilton Hotels missed his court date for the hearing in his case regarding felony charges.

On August 2014, while driving on Interstate 10, Hilton was prompted to slow down by a police patrol in response to reports of his 2013 BMW weaving through traffic and driving onto the median. A chase ensued, resulting in Hilton’s car crashing into a rig near Cathedral City. Hilton had to be helped out of the car. He was admitted in a hospital for a fractured hand. No one else was injured in the car chase.

Hilton was arrested in May of 2015 for this incident. He paid the bail of $100,000 at the Riverside County Jail.

The judge at Larson Justice Center agreed to move the court date to September 17, and if Hilton does not appear in court bail will increase to $500,000.

It was not revealed why Hilton did not attend. His sister, Nicky Hilton, married James Rothschild in London on July 10, but her brother was not present at the ceremony.

This is not Hilton’s first brush with the law. In July 2014, Hilton disturbed other passengers on his flight by smoking, and threatening attendants. He was sentenced to three years of probation, community service, and a fine for his behavior. The probation restricted him to his house between 10 p.m. and 5 a.m.

On June 21, 2015, he ignored his ex-girlfriend’s restraining order and was caught inside Hollywood Hills house. That case is still ongoing.
