BEVERLY HILLS —Barry Snoddy is a very talented musician and singer, who is about to release his first CD titled “The Life I Choose.” Barry grew up a very open, extroverted young man who always had a knack for music and making people laugh. Now about to release his CD, Barry has finally found everything that he’s always dreamed about. So will listeners of his music, who will hear real-life stories about Barry through his melodies that reflect and mirror our own life experiences.

When asked which musicians in entertainment made the greatest impression on his style of music. Barry quickly rattled off his list, which include, “Elvis, Conway, George Jones, Waylon , Hank, Jr., Travis Tritt, Jeff Bates, Kid Rock, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Jamie Johnson and Johnnie Cash,” said Snoddy.

Perhaps I’m a bit prejudiced, but Barry has always been one of my favorite people. Even if he wasn’t possessed with such great talent, I’d still be his friend. Each song on his new CD has such meaning and it will possibly empower many listeners to reach for their dreams. Barry has never doubted his own talent or ever discouraged anyone from trying to find their niche and working hard to make their dreams come true. Snoddy’s son Brian, who lives in Colorado is perhaps the only person on earth who has more musical talent than Barry himself. The two make a wonderful duo when they play and sing and I’ve witnessed their musical skills and promise anyone who purchases Barry’s CD that they will find an eclectic but strong country music base in all of his songs.

Snoddy’s style lends credence to almost a cabaret styled country rhythm, where the handsome star seems as if he’s talking to everyone in the audience. Barry’s strong southern drawl is only eclipsed by the magnitude of his beautifully trained voice that sends women into hysterics and have been known to make even the toughest redneck cry.

Musicians also included on the album are, Brian Snoddy on lead and acoustic guitar, Gary Bibb on keyboard and organ, Patty Carmichael and Linda Melvin are backup vocals, Steve Carmichael on mandolin, Robin Dickson on the harmonica and 12-string guitar, Keith Jones and Jerry Lowry on drums, Jay Kaczor on banjo and acoustic lead, James Serrett on lead guitar, Jason Serrett on bass guitar, Jonathan Sharpe not only is a backup vocals but also does lead, acoustic and slide guitars. With so many wonderfully talented musicians behind him, Barry only needs his beautiful wife Lora to handle the heavy lifting of keeping the band together and promotion. Lora’s doing a wonderful job.

Whenever Barry’s not in the music studio, he’s painting pictures, riding a motorcycle, shooting pool, doing magic tricks and making others laugh.

Barry Snoddy’s CD will be released on May 1, and his concert tour commences thereafter. Barry’s going to become a force to be reckoned with in the country music world. However, remember what Dolly Parton and I have told you, Barry. “Don’t worry about the lies they print about you, just pray they don’t find out the truth.” You can keep up with Barry’s upcoming appearances and preorder his wonderful CD by going to his official Web site BarrySnoddy.com.
