BEL AIR—Donald Trump held a fundraiser in Bel Air on Thursday, July 14, with a top ticket price of $449,400-per-couple.

The gathering was held before Trump announced his running mate on Saturday, July 16: Indiana Gov. Mike Pence, after weeks of deciding between three potential vice presidential nominees: Pence, New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie and House Speaker Newt Gingrich.

The $449,400-per-couple ticket price for the event included the maximum individual contributions permitted to a presidential candidate, $2,700; the maximum to a national party committee, $33,400; and the maximum to additional national party accounts which pay for the national convention and national party headquarters building, $100,200.

Ticket prices ranged from $2,700 to $449,000; prices were marked at $2,700-per-person, $10,800-per-couple, $25,000-per-person, $100,000-per-couple, $250,000-per-couple, and $449,400-per-couple; each price bracket including different benefits, according to an invitation obtained by City News Service. There whereabouts of the actual fundraiser were not disclosed, but each ticket include the following:

  • Admission into the reception
  • Have a photo taken with Trump

$25,000-per-person:

  • Admission into the reception
  • Have a photo taken with Trump
  • Attend dinner with Trump

$100,000-per-couple:

  • Attend dinner with Trump
  • Be designated as a vice chair of the event

$250,000-per-couple:

  • Admission into the reception
  • Have a photo taken with Trump
  • Attend dinner with Trump
  • Be part of the campaign’s “Chairman’s Circle”

$449,400-per-couple:

  • Admission into an earlier reception
  • Admission into the reception
  • Have a photo taken with Trump
  • Attend dinner with Trump
  • Be a part of the campaign’s “Presidential Trust”

The fundraising proceeds were directed towards the Trump Campaign, the Republican National Committee and state parties. Additional funds go to various state Republican parties.

The event listed an assortment of hosts, including Colony Capital’s Tom Barrack and former Dodgers co-owner Jamie McCourt.

Also invited was Reince Priebus, Chairman of the Republic National Committee; Steve Mnuchin, a major movie financer who doubles as the Trump campaign’s finance manager; and Elliott Broidy, vice chairman of Trump Victory, and the joint fundraising committee his campaign set up with the party.

Trump also held another private fundraiser at his Beverly Hills home on Rodeo Drive, according to the Daily News. No details were released, but there was a visible police presence around the property.
