MALIBU—The nonprofit organization Operation Christmas Child, has announced locations of donation drop-off sites that will be scattered throughout Malibu for its National Collection Week, which is scheduled to last from November 14 to November 21.

With the help of donations, Operation Christmas Child volunteers hope to transform more than 60,000 empty shoe boxes into gifts that will then be distributed to children fighting poverty and natural disasters across the world.

The organization asks residents of the community to donate shoe boxes filled with school supplies, toys, notes of encouragement and hygiene items at the listed drop-off sites.

Every year, Operation Christmas Child’s National Collection Week takes place in the third week of November when nearly 5,000 drop-off sites are open across the country.
