WOODLAND HILLS—Music producer and rapper Andre Young known by stage his name Dr. Dre sold his 16,000 square foot French influenced mansion in July. The property sold through restate company David and Kelly Williams Reality Calabasas.

The Grammy-award winner and chief executive of Aftermath Entertainment and Beats Electronics purchased the property in 1999 for $2.35 million. He listed the property at $5.25 million, and sold the home for $4.5 million.

The home has 13 bathrooms and 8 bedrooms with grand entertaining spaces; a gated driveway, security suite languorous foyer, spacious living and dining rooms. He has a private guest house, and a dark-paneled office and personal study library designed with coffered ceiling.

In 2014, Dr. Dre purchased a Brentwood-area mansion previously owned by New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady. The musician developed his restate portfolio over the past 20 years, as he owns several properties in the Los Angeles region including, Malibu, Calabasas, and Pacific Palisades.
