MALIBU—A mudslide on Topanga Canyon Boulevard left a driver injured on Friday, February 15. According to ABC 7 News, the incident transpired at around 11 p.m.
The driver was in a Mercedes SUV, which was heavily damaged following the crash, that occurred south of Grandview Drive in Topanga. The driver was transported to a nearby hospital to be treated for injuries sustained.
Topanga Canyon Boulevard was temporarily shut down as officials from Caltrans worked to clear debris from the road, including dirt, mud and rocks. Officials are currently investigating the exact cause of the crash.
