GRIFFITH PARK—A DUI suspect was arrested in Griffith Park after colliding into a patrol car injuring two officers near 4730 Crystal Springs Dr. on Sunday, November 6.
Los Angeles Police Department Sgt. Teresa Anderson indicated in a statement that it was unclear whether the collision was intentional or due to the driver being intoxicated.
The accident occurred at at 1:45 a.m. Sunday when the officers showed up to respond to someone being locked inside Griffith Park.
It was during their search when the officer’s patrol vehicle was T-boned by the suspect’s vehicle. The officers were transported to a local hospital for treatment. The officers sustained neck and back pain injuries, but are both expected to recover.
