STUDIO CITY—Steven Adler, 54, the former drummer of the band Guns N’ Roses was taken to the hospital Thursday, June 27 after reportedly stabbing himself in the stomach. TMZ was the first outlet to report the incident.
Someone contacted 911 from Alder’s home around 6:30 p.m. Both police and paramedics arrived on the scene to treat the drummer.
Adler was apart of Guns N Roses during their debut album in 1987 titled, “Appetite for Destructions.”
The former drummer’s self-inflicted knife wound was not life-threatening and it is unclear at this time if this incident was a suicide attempt. The drummer has been in rehab several times to battle drug addiction.
