HOLLYWOOD—For the second consecutive weekend, “Spider-Man: Far From Home” was victorious at the box-office taking in $45.3 million at the box-office. The sequel has amounted a domestic tally off $275 million since its release. “Toy Story 4” landed in second place with a gross of $20.7 million. On an international scale, “Toy Story 4” has grossed over $771 million.

Debuting in third place was the thriller “Crawl” with a paltry $12 million. The other new release for the weekend, the comedy “Stuber” did not draw audiences with a dismal $8 million. The musical comedy “Yesterday” rounded out the top five with $6.8 million.

Yeah, I think it’s safe to safe this weekend was not big for moviegoers. With summer dwindling down on us, the only other big flick that could potentially draw big audiences is the live-action movie “The Lion King.” The flick opened to over $54 million overseas, but how it debuts in North America will be a telling sign where things go for this movie next weekend.
