BEVERLY HILLS—Former “Teen Mom” star, Farrah Abraham, 27, who arrested in June after attacking a Beverly Hills Hotel security guard was charged on Monday, July 16 with two misdemeanors for battery and resisting arrest.

During the incident, the security guard asked Abraham to leave the hotel yelling at guests. The Beverly Hills Police Department indicated reported that Abraham struck him in the face with her forearm, grabbed his ear and pushed him in the face as he tried to prevent her from re-entering the hotel. Officers spotted that Abraham exhibited signs of intoxication during the investigation. The guard sustained minor injuries during the incident. She was taken into custody for misdemeanor battery and trespassing pursuant to a private person’s arrest. Her bail was set at $500.

Abraham took to Instagram Live the day after the arrest saying that she was “targeted” and the situation was “blow out of proportion.” She also wrote in a caption, “The Beverly Hills Police officers should stop having power trips and lying and selling stories to TMZ, while you let all of Beverly Hills be robbed, car break-ins, stealing go on.”

Farrah will be arraigned on August 13 where she could face up to 18 months in jail time if convicted as charged. Abraham came to fame on the MTV series “16 and Pregnant,” and later appeared in the spinoff show “Teen Mom.” She appeared on the UK version of “Celebrity Big Brother” in 2015. She released a memoir in 2012 titled, “My Teenage Dream Ended.” Abraham was recently fired from the MTV show “Teen Mom” earlier in the year.
