HOLLYWOOD—Although Kathy Griffin and Kelly Osbourne have left “Fashion Police,” the popular television series on E! has not been cancelled.

According to reports, E! executives have already discussed the future of the show and they plan to fill in the open seats. It is likely that a different show with the same concept will be created.

The network has announced that the show will be postponed until September.

E! released the following statement: “We look forward to taking this opportunity to refresh the show before the next awards season. Our talented co-hosts Giuliana Rancic and Brad Goreski, along with executive producer Melissa Rivers, will continue their roles as we evolve the show into its next chapter for the legions of Fashion Police fans around the world.”

The series faced media scrutiny after host Giuliana Rancic made what many deemed racist comments to actress and singer Zendaya during her appearance at the Academy Awards in February. Since the debacle, Rancic issued multiple apologies to the star and even made a public apology on air. Osbourne first announced her departure from the series, with Griffin announcing her departure in the past week.
