BEVERLY HILLS — A suspected bank robber struck again in the area on January 28. The Los Angeles Police Department put out an alert after a female bank robber was caught on tape as she stole from another bank. She has been linked to five other robberies, according to the LAPD.
The suspect entered a bank on the 100 block of North La Cienega at around 5:10 p.m. The video caught by security cameras shows the woman entering the bank and then approaching a female teller. The LAPD states that at this point the suspect handed over a handwritten note to the teller before drawing her attention to a gun in her hand. After receiving the money from the teller, the suspect quickly left the building.
The bank robber is described to be a black female between 35 and 40 years old, standing between 5 feet 2 inches and 5 feet 4 inches tall and weighing around 140 pounds. On the day of the robbery, the suspect was wearing a dark colored shirt, a long blonde wig and sunglasses.
