STUDIO CITY—A garage fire broke out at a Studio City home on Friday, May 31 at 10:37 a.m.
The garage that was caught ablaze was attached to a home located on 10765 West Brookview Drive. A total of 26 Los Angeles Fire Department firefighters contained the fire to the garage area preventing it’s spread to the main single-family home. According to LAFD spokesperson Nicholas Prange, the garage fire was contained within 12 minutes.
A vehicle and property located within the garage was damaged. There were no reports of any other injuries during the incident. The cause of the fire is still under investigation by officials.
