HOLLYWOOD—Rarely have I felt so cheated by a film about a superhero. From Batman to Superman, the films depicting heroes tend to be entertaining. Some more than others, but “The Green Hornet” was a genuine let down. Perhaps the storyline was too corny and cheap? It didn’t entertain and I doubt that even kids, who love films about superheroes and superpowers, will enjoy this one. I kept feeling like director Michel Gondry didn’t feel like taking the viewers seriously. The film fell flat from the beginning.

Perhaps Seth Rogen should stick to acting and not try to act and write in the same film? Or perhaps someone else should have played the lead role.Whatever it was, it was not funny and it didn’t incorporate the best parts of the Green Hornet’s past experiences in order to introduce us to this superhero.
