MALIBU—A high speed chase occurred on the Pacific Coast Highway in Malibu on September 27.
California Highway Patrol officers chased the vehicle throughout Los Angeles County. The chase exceeded an hour and came to an end in Ventura County.
California Highway Patrol officers disabled the suspect’s vehicle by using spike strip at Hueneme Rd at approximately 8:23 p.m.
The suspect was driving speeds between 80-100 mph surpassed 100.
A helicopter and three patrol vehicles were tracking the vehicle during the chase. Where a female suspect was taken into custody by authorities after attempting to flee from them on foot after exiting her vehicle.
