HOLLYWOOD HILLS—Officials from the Los Angeles Fire Department discovered the body of a hiker on Monday, August 18.
The body was found near 8350 Mulholland Drive near the trail. According to reports, the death appears to be a suicide. The man, a Caucasian male in his 50s was found with a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the chest near the popular Laurel Canyon Dog Park.
The victim was found by two hikers in the area shortly after 8:45 a.m.
