BEVERLY HILLS—Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton wrapped up a two-day visit to Los Angeles and Orange counties.

The former Secretary of State taped an appearance on the ABC late-night talk show “Jimmy Kimmel Live” and attended two fundraisers in Beverly Hills on Monday, August 22 and attended a Hollywood Hills luncheon fundraiser on Tuesday, August 23.

The first fundraiser was a cocktail reception held at basketball Hall of Famer Magic Johnson’s house and co-hosted by actors Denzel Washington and Samuel L. Jackson; admission was priced at $2,700 per person; the maximum individual contribution to a presidential candidate under federal law.

The second event immediately succeeded the first and was a dinner hosted at entertainment mogul Haim Saban’s Beverly Hills home; tickets were priced at $100,000 per couple – which included admission into the dinner and a photo with Clinton.

Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel hosted a luncheon fundraiser on Tuesday at their Hollywood Hills home alongside a repertoire of celebrities, including cohosts, Tobey Maguire, Jennifer Aniston and Shonda Rhimes; tickets were priced at $33,400 – the maximum amount an individual can contribute to a national party committee in a year.

The Clinton campaign hopes to raise $1 billion for the general election. Clinton’s finance director recently informed campaign staff that the operation is halfway to that goal, a source close to the campaign told the Associated Press.
