HOLLYWOOD—The driver of a white Range Rover slammed into four parked cars in Hollywood on Tuesday, June 13, before fleeing the scene on foot, authorities indicated.

The incident occurred at about 2:30 a.m. at Cahuenga Boulevard and Odin Street near the 101 Freeway, according to the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD). The driver reportedly crashed into the back of one vehicle, pushing it into the next car and causing a chain reaction. At least four cars were damaged.

The male driver of the Range Rover grabbed his belongings and left the scene, according to witnesses. The front end of his vehicle suffered significant damage.

The owner of one of the vehicles reportedly said this is the sixth time her car has been totaled in the same area. According to reports, hit-and-run accidents occur frequently on the curvy street. Residents believe the city needs to take measures to prevent these incidents, such as traffic lights, crosswalks, or speed bumps.

There were no reports of any significant injuries. Officials are still investigating the case and looking for the suspect involved. Anyone with information is asked to contact the LAPD.
