HOLLYWOOD —Hollywood’s most handsome men have been discussed in fan magazines and on entertainment shows for decades. What makes this week’s actors the most handsome amongst the list of Hollywood A-List actors is that they are all three consummate acting professionals. Like Gable, Grant and Cooper decades before them, Kin Shriner, Ryan Kwanten and Winsor Harmon bring Hollywood glamour to television at a time it’s highly lacking. Thanks to the numerous reality-TV stars, we only have a small number of shows that bring us hunks who have talent and appeal greater than what the various reality series try to focus on. Kin Shriner, a soap veteran, Ryan Kwanten, an Aussie native who is winning fans world-wide on HBO’s “True Blood” and Winsor Harmon on CBS’s “The Bold and the Beautiful” bring great performances with looks that are envied by men and worshiped by women.

Kin Shriner has been on television for over three decades. A dramatic actor who millions of fans know as Scott Baldwin on ABC’s “General Hospital,” Shriner has starred on “B&B,” “Port Charles” “ATWT” and is now creating a stir on the Internet in Martha Byrne’s new series “Gotham.” Kin is one of the most generous and kind people in Hollywood, who loves living part-time in Southern Florida. What many don’t realize is the guy has amazing comedic timing and would have been a much better choice than even Charlie Sheen on “Two and a Half Men,” which airs on CBS. The handsome star has critical acclaim as a dramatic actor, but is so abundantly talented, it’s a shame we don’t see the other sides of his acting ability very often. We’ll take the handsome hunk any way we can get him on TV or the Net.

Ryan Kwanten has created the southern U.S. hick we love on “True Blood.” Jason Stackhouse is right up there with Gomer Pyle and his cousin Goober on the Mayberry hit show “Andy Griffith.” Ryan’s difference with say an actor like Jim Nabors is that his character is a sex-symbol, an icon of sorts, with a legion of female viewers of the vampire drama tuning in on a weekly basis on Sunday nights to see what trouble the hunk with no brain can get himself into. Kwanten unlike his TV persona is far from a hick, far from dumb. The Aussie native has made himself a full-blow American TV star, which you cannot achieve if you are not intelligent and most of all very talented.

Last, but not least of this week’s handsome men is actor Winsor Harmon, who stars as the youngest Forrester scion Thorne on CBS’s mega hit series “The Bold and the Beautiful.” Thorne may not be lucky in love, but it would be hard to believe the handsome blond Adonis who portrays him would have such a hard time finding love. In fact Winsor is happily married and is a grandfather now. That doesn’t stop the talented actor from staying in shape and enjoying his status as a Hollywood sex-symbol, who has even graced the pages of Playgirl magazine. Winsor is known as a sincere good guy, who takes his craft and vocation as an actor very seriously. He can’t help it if he’s as handsome as he is, he probably gives his parents credit for good genes.

Next week Canyon News takes a look at three more actors who have it all like our choices this week. Winsor Harmon, Kin Shriner and Ryan Kwanten have many more great years ahead of them than behind them. Aren’t we all lucky because of it?
