Home Invasion Captured On Surveillance

SHERMAN OAKS—Detectives from the Los Angeles Police Department’s Van Nuys Division are seeking the public’s help in identifying three men who were involved in a robbery that transpired on April 9.

At around 4:00 a.m., a home located near the 14000 block of Mulholland Boulevard was broken into. One of the suspects entered the property by jumping a fence and circled the fence line. He entered the pool patio area at the back side of the residence where he walked up to the main entrance and kicked in the door to gain entry.

Two additional suspects joined the first suspect and all three entered the home. The three confronted the occupants inside the home and held them at gunpoint. They ransacked the home and fled to an unidentified vehicle they used to flee the scene.

The initial suspect is described as an African American male between the ages of 20 to 29. He was wearing dark clothing, had on a black mask, and was armed with a semi-automatic handgun.

The second and third suspects are described as African American males between the ages of 20 to 29. The third suspect is said to have been wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt with matching grey sweatpants. The incident was captured on surveillance cameras located on the property.
