HOLLYWOOD—With Thomas Jane playing a Detroit based gigolo, fans are seeing a new side to the hunky blond star, who proves to viewers and critics that he has a lot more to bring to the role than just a handsome face. In desperation, Jessica turned to Ray for help with a rodent problem that her husband believed was imaginary.
Rebuffed by Ray in her attempts to add Mike to her stable, Tanya received guilt-management advice from Charlie (Lennie James), who always gives her bad advice. She then went to extremes to prove her success, by giving her mother a lavish and unwanted birthday gift, then throwing a wad of cash on the table to pay for everyone’s meal. Her tacky and outlandish behavior is about to come back to haunt her. Though the actress plays the neurotic pimp with aplomb.
Ray had difficulty thawing a client who was cold as ice during their dating session. Ray certainly puts his heart and soul into his work as a sex therapist. Tonight’s episode was written by Angela Robinson, and directed by Lisa Cholodenko.
