BEVERLY HILLS—Kim Richards will not be returning to ‘The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.” The actress and reality star was fired from the show on Wednesday, June 3.
The reality star was said to be a “liability for the show.” Richards suffered a week-long relapse after her daughter’s wedding in Mexico. The decision came after Richards failed to contact anyone from the network over her whereabouts that week. The lack of communication prompted the network to let her go. Producers say that Richards sobriety problem must be dealt with outside of the show and they have no interest in bringing her back at the moment.
Richards checked into rehab earlier in May after an intoxicated incident at the Beverly Hills Hotel in April led to her arrest. The star has had a five-year run on the show, appearing on the show since its inception. It is rumored that her sister, Kyle Richards, may also soon be cut from the show.
