SHERMAN OAKS—Serial robbery suspect Jason Paul Holman, 34, was arrested by Los Angeles Police Department Robbery-Homicide detectives after committing 16 armed robberies using an AK-47 assault rifle. All of the robberies took place within the San Fernando Valley area through the course of one year.

Holman last robbed a fast food restaurant on Sunday, December 20, and fled in his vehicle. Robbery-Homicide Detectives managed to immediately arrest Holman following the robbery, as mentioned in the LAPD blog.

Authorities did not release information to the public regarding the location of the latest robbery that Holman participated in.

Holman would enter gas stations, mini-markets, fast-food restaurants, and pharmacies, while pointing a partially concealed AK-47 assault rifle at the victims and would proceed to demand money.

According to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, Holman’s bail was set at $16 million.
